Future by Another Name

Future has changed its name. I was lead to a link which stated that the makers of Future changed the name of the product to "Pledge with Future Shine." Now I can rest! No, I have started to test a new product - Minwax Polycrylic. About a month ago I used some of this product on a piece of polymer clay. It is still shiny and non tacky. That is good. I used my fingernail to do a scratch test. The finish held up to the test.

You can also use any other interior water based varnish. Nothing with oil in it. Absolutely no "SPRAY" paints or varnish. Something in the spray paint doesn't play well with clay.

I've used the brand "Olympic Polyurethane premium water based clear gloss" and NONE of my stuff has degraded in any way. But now, I've gotten a tumbler and I don't put a finish on anything after they tumble buff. They come out of the tumbler just as shiny as you please :)
