LARGE PINCH FLOWER CANE

I conditioned some clay while watching a video. It was so warm that when I went to stretch out the blue blend it folded back on itself. So it was a mess. So I decided to work with it, this meant that the blue end of the blue/white blend was in the center. I also think in the future the initial petal cane should be rolled and reduce as a round cane. Reducing the cane in the round gets the cane to a desired size with ease. From France I have admired some big flower cane necklaces, so I am working on creating some large flower canes.

Hi,
You posted a comment on my blog about the file folder. I know I left a comment on some staples you colored...but don't remember if I replied back about the question you had.

"This is beautiful and I want to try it. I am new to this so I have a question. After you make the foundation out of folders, is that when you just glue on your decorative paper? A newbie needing help."

What I would do is either measure out the size of the file part I wanted to cover or I would mark my paper then cut to size. I would also trim the paper I'm using so it would have a bordered look to the page once it was glued down. I hope that helps. Sorry it took a while to reply back. I'm trying to get better at this blogging thing...lol

Thank you for stopping by my blog,
Teresa
